The player then has to kill the gang members and Ryder to complete the mission.Īfter the mission, multiple players reported seeing an apparition of him near Pier 69 or in the backyard of his home on Grove Street. In the mission Pier 69, the player catches Ryder dealing with rival gang members in San Fierro. Ryder is a pivotal plot character in the game, but later in the story, he betrays the Grove Street Families, marking him as an antagonist in future events.
